I’m a firm believer that the best way to get to know a city is through its coffee shops. There’s something about discovering a cozy café that makes a new place instantly feel familiar. Luckily, Savannah is full of sip-worthy spots that I can’t wait to share with you!

Get your coffee order ready because you will want to add all of these stops to your Savannah itinerary.
☕️ Origin Coffee Bar
Origin Coffee Bar has truly mastered their craft. From the moment you walk through the door you feel like family. Its the kind of place where the staff remembers your name and the coffee and food are consistently top tier. I love their thoughtfully curated menu that includes rotating seasonal specials and the best sourdough toast in town.
What I love most is how deeply Origin is rooted in Savannah’s creative scene. From their iconic JULU mural to the local handmade goods on display for purchase and the collaborative pop-up events they host, there’s always something inspiring happening here. Oh, and don’t let me forget to mention they are pet friendly.
The space is bright, modern, but still cozy and inviting. Whether you’re grabbing a latte to go, meeting a friend, or staying awhile with your laptop, Origin just feels like community and it’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good coffee!!
My typical order: Breakfast Burrito OR the OG Avocado Toast with an iced or hot vanilla latte. I also love adding their flavored cold foams.
☕️ The Collins Quarter
If I had to pick one place in Savannah that truly has my heart, it’s The Collins Quarter. It’s my go-to for coffee dates, brunch, casual lunches, and even elevated dinner dates. It’s the place I find myself returning to over and over, and I will never stop recommending.
The Collins Quarter blends historic Southern charm with a refined, Australian café culture. The name itself is inspired by Collins Street in Melbourne, known for its high end espresso bars and brunch scene. The café brings that same sophisticated, cosmopolitan feel to the heart of Savannah.
You’ll find them in two locations: the original on Bull Street (my friends and I call it the OG:CQ) and a beautiful second spot in the center of Forsyth Park, offering lots of outdoor seating and a slightly different menu, but that same incredible specialty coffees!
My typical order: Coffee: Madagascar Vanilla Latte or Spiced Lavender Mocha | Breakfast: Avocado Toast or Upstream Supreme| Lunch: Quinoa Chicken Bowl or Chicken Sandwich
☕️ Franklin’s
Franklin’s is one of those places you stumble into once and then somehow end up going back to again and again. Tucked along Liberty Street, this little coffee shop is a neighborhood favorite.
Step down into the shop and you’re instantly wrapped in that cozy, intimate European café energy. Their specialty coffee menu is the icing on the cake and full of amazing options including coffee inspired cocktails.
Franklin’s is perfect for slow mornings and people-watching afternoons. Grab a seat by the window, and peep one of my favorite views of the IPC Church steeple. You won’t want to skip this one!
My typical order: Coffee: Mocha Latte or Orange Dream Latte| Breakfast: Croissant Sandwich
☕️ PERC Coffee
I am a huge PERC fan! The branding is seriously so fun and I love that they roast their own beans. You’ll find their blends in cafes all over town, but their East Broad location is worth making a stop. It has an open warehouse-y feel that’s perfect for casual mornings or working remotely. This is a great place to stop after a morning run through downtown or an afternoon pick-me-up after shopping antique stores.
PERC really achieves a unique and playful spin to a coffee shop and I think its truly worth sharing. Plus, the coffee is amazing! You won’t want to miss the merch section…trust me, buy a bag of coffee to take home with you!
My typical order: Good Times Latte or The Happy Camper | Lox Bagel or an Auspicious pastry
☕️ Asher + Rye
Asher + Rye is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. It’s dangerously close to our house and I love an excuse to walk over for a coffee.
The café is tucked inside the most amazing lifestyle shop in the Design District. Its truly the best combo: shopping AND coffee…“yes please!”.
I look forward to stopping here for a mid-day reset, ordering a latte or one of their specialty smoothies and browsing their rotating selection of cookbooks, ceramics, and home goods. They also have the prettiest outdoor patio space perfect for catching up with a friend. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet coffee break or bringing out-of-town guests to shop and sip, Asher + Rye is the perfect stylish escape you didn’t know you needed.
My typical order: Vanilla Latte or Rye’s Banana Bread Smoothie
☕️ Gallery Espresso
Gallery Espresso is a true Savannah classic and had to make it way onto this list. Its one of Savannah’s oldest and most beloved coffee house right on Chippewa Square. It has that cozy, lived-in charm that makes you want to stay a while.
Inside you’ll find mismatched armchairs, exposed brick, and local art rotating on the walls. It is the perfect spot to curl up with a book, quietly journal, or settle in for an afternoon of uninterrupted work. It reminds me of a place straight out of Stars Hollow, a little quirky, a little magical, and completely welcoming.
The menu offers all the staples: strong coffee, lattes, teas, pastries, and light bites and the dessert list is worth the stop alone. Gallery is that place that feels like it’s always been there, and you hope it always will be.
My typical order: Mocha Latte and a Bagel Melt
Walking through Chippewa Square drinking Gallery Espresso lattes
Whenever you find yourself in Savannah craving a good latte, I hope this guide helps you discover a new favorite spot (or two). These cafés are more than just coffee shops to me and I am so happy to share them with you!
Until the next check-in…
